All money raised will help fund Hay Springs High School’s FBLA. On sale Thursday February 1st through Monday February 12th.
The Salvation Army is now accepting nominations for the 2017 D.J.’s Hero Awards. Given in memory of D.J. Sokol, the awards recognize Nebraska high school seniors who exemplify D.J.’s dedication to faith, selfless acts for others and commitment to the community. Honoress receive a $10,000 scholarship toward their selected university or college.

Groundhog Day is coming up on February 2nd. First grade needs your help. We will use our Groundhog Day predictions to create a graph and analyze if our predictions are correct!
What do you predict Punxutawney Phil will do? Will he see his shadow and predict 6 more weeks of winter? Or will he not see his shadow and spring will be on it’s way! Some sources say he has been correct about 39% of the time.

Our Team competed in Sidney, NE on January 20th with 16 other teams who battled the clock while remembering Gracious Professionalism. Seven of those 16 teams were successful. Our Team was invited to join other teams at The Nebraska Robotics Expo February, 17th, 2018 at the Strategic Air Command Aerospace Museum in Ashland, NE. We will be working the concessions stand this coming Tuesday, January 30th, at the basketball games beginning at 3:00 PM to defray the cost of our trip.
