The middle level and high school attended a presentation on the harmful effects of illegal drugs on October 19th in the auditorium given by presenter Chuck Elley. The 7th grade did reports on the presentation and the following document is some of what they found.

The Hay Springs Hawks Varsity and JH Football teams traveled to Cody today. The JH team finished an undefeated season with their 47-13 victory over Cody-Kilgore. The varsity team edged away from the Cowboys with a 34-28 win, making them the class D6 District 6 Champions. The Hawks have solidified a spot in the NSAA Football Playoffs! “Summer fun” was had by all at the middle school dance! They played games, ate snacks, danced, and sang at the top of their lungs. Thank you to everyone who helped with this event.
The 3rd Quarter assembly was held on Tuesday, March 15th. At this assembly, “A” and “B” honor roll students(3rd-12th grades) were recognized. When you see one of these kids, congratulate them on a job well done!
