Cinco De Mayo
The Hay Springs Robotics group will be hosting their 2nd annual Cinco De Mayo expo on Thursday, May 5th(who would have guessed?!?!) at Lister starting at 5:00 PM. Stop by for some really great authentic Mexican food and have a look at what the Robotics clubs have been up to this year! This is a free will donation to help raise money for the club. See you there!

Cookie Dough Orders
The cookie dough delivery is scheduled for Monday, May 2nd, between 4:00 and 4:30! Please come to the school cafeteria to pick up your orders. Just a reminder – all cookie dough needs to be kept frozen!
2022 Junior/Senior Prom
The 2022 Prom will be held in the auditorium on April 30th. The Grand March will be held in the auditorium beginning at 8:30. The doors will open to the public at 8:15 p.m. to attend the Grand March and parent dance ONLY. All public, including parents, are asked to leave immediately following the parent dance so that the students can enjoy spending the evening with their classmates and friends. This is a reminder to parents and students that only students in grades 9-12 are eligible to attend prom. In addition, 9th & 10th grade students must be eligible the week of April 25th in order to attend prom.
Middle Level Dance
“Summer fun” was had by all at the middle school dance! They played games, ate snacks, danced, and sang at the top of their lungs. Thank you to everyone who helped with this event.
Track Apparel Store
Due to multiple requests we are reopening the track store. It will be open until Thursday, April 28th. I can not guarantee you will get the clothing before track is over. I will say I am very happy with the quality of the clothing that came in. The windsuit and sweats would be good for next season to have while it is cold. I also have some jackets for athletes to try on if you are interested in getting them a jacket.

Hay Springs eSports Team State Information
On Thursday, April 28th, the “Golden Hawks”, Hay Springs’s eSports team will be traveling to York, Nebraska to compete at the Nebraska Schools Esports Association(https://nebraskahsesports.com/) state tournament. The number 4 ranked Hay Springs team, consisting of Kaden Langford and Sam Hindman, will face off against number 1 ranked Wynot at 9:00 AM CT/8:00 AM MT on Friday, April 29th. We would like to thank those who have supported us through the season, we really appreciate all you have done for us and none of this would be possible without you! A special thank you to the Hay Springs School Board for allowing us to use a suburban to make the trip!
