The Hay Springs Hawks Varsity and JH Football teams traveled to Cody today. The JH team finished an undefeated season with their 47-13 victory over Cody-Kilgore. The varsity team edged away from the Cowboys with a 34-28 win, making them the class D6 District 6 Champions. The Hawks have solidified a spot in the NSAA Football Playoffs! 4th graders had a presentation today by a local author. She explained the writing, revising, editing and publishing process. We learned there is a lot of hard work that goes into making a book and marketing a book, but the rewards are priceless.
Due to hosting volleyball subdistrict games next Monday & Tuesday evenings we will be moving the K-3 fall program to Thursday, October 27th at 6:30pm.
