Decoration Contest Winners

Christmas Door and Christmas Locker decorating winners for 2022 are: Preschool (Mrs. Rasmussen), Highschool Business Class (Mrs. Sommerville), ML/HS Student Kaytee Kaiser.  Our Grand Poobah decorator is Mrs. Twila Weyers who played a major part in making sure the entire school was decorated!

Cancellations and Reschedules

-Due to on going blowing snow and impassable roads HSPS will have NO SCHOOL on Thursday, December 15th. Hope everyone can get dug out with no complications. See you on Monday.

-One Act public performance scheduled for Friday, December 16th has been canceled.

-Friday school for Friday December 16th has been canceled due to snow and impassable roads.

-The girls and boys basketball game scheduled for tomorrow against Creek Valley has been moved to this Friday, December 16th. Schedule Changes

-HSPS was notified that the state will be closing HWY 87 at 3:00 pm, therefore school will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. Bus will run accordingly. All activities for tonight are postponed.  Hay Springs Junior High Girls Basketball will not be playing this afternoon due to road closures.  We are looking at a possible reschedule for next week.  There will be NO High school varsity games vs. Hemingford tonight!

-Due to road closure and impending snow storm the Board Meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed.

-Due to the impending snow storm moving in, HSPS will not be having school on Tuesday or Wednesday 12/13 and 12/14. Stay home and be safe!

Santa Soup Cook Off and Concert Postponed

Due to the weather, we are moving the Santa Soup Cook-off & the Night, The Lights & Music Concert (7/8 band & choir; High school band & choir) to Sunday, December 11th. The concert will begin in the auditorium at 4pm with the Santa Soup Cook-off from 4pm-7pm in Lister.  To clear up any confusion, the Santa Soup Cook-off is open for shopping at 4:00 PM and soup tasting begins at 5:00 PM, the same as it was scheduled before.
