On Thursday May 8th, Hay Springs preschoolers from Big School invited our friends from Noah’s Ark to join us on a field trip to Riverside Discovery Center in Scottsbluff. It was a wonderful experience for the students and everyone had a great time! Thank you to all of the staff and parents that made this special day possible!

On May 19, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., a meeting conducted by Sheridan County School District #3 will take place in the Hawks Nest at Hay Springs High School. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of non-public schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend non-public schools and home schools which are within the Sheridan County District #3 for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child identified with a disability and attending a non-public school within the boundaries of Sheridan County School District #3, are urged to attend. -Hay Springs was team runner up with a 402 as Hemingford won the team honors with a 386.

This year National Honor Society took over Community Clean Up Day. A huge thank you to those students who chose to spend their afternoon giving back to the community who gives so much to our school!

Due to the weather forecast, the JH Track meet in Morrill on Tuesday 5/6 has been moved to Thursday 5/8. With the meet being moved, junior high kids who signed up for $5 physicals will now attend physicals on Tuesday 5/6. 6:15 am leave time. The cafeteria will have grab and go breakfast available.
