The Burning Of The “H”

Last Thursday evening, HSPS students were able to enjoy a tradition that had been canceled in recent years due to dry conditions.  It was the burning of the “H” for homecoming!  In addition to that, a new event was added this year as well.  Students were able to take out any frustrations they might have had by taking swings at an old car.  The car smash was a fundraising event for the student council.

Parents Day

Wednesday is Parent Day!  Today, students were to dress like a parent and bring a non-living item to school.  They were then to treat it as their child.  As you can see from the pictures, we had some very creative “parents”!

Homecoming Pep Rally 2023

Following the Coronation on Tuesday afternoon, the Homecoming Pep Rally was held on the football field.  The event, which featured speeches by coaches and team members, class cheers, musical chairs, “minute to win it” games, and the ever popular Hawk Dance was well attended by students, staff, parents, and community members.  Here are several pictures of the festivities captured by HSPS senior Chase Brunsch.
