Spring Concert and Academic Fair

music notes1academic fairThe public is welcome to come and see what the students have been up to in the classrooms. Projects will be on display in Lister-Sage May 14th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Stick around after the fair to see  students in grades K-5 perform their Spring concert pieces beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

 Graduation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 in the Lister-Sage Community Building. The doors will be open to the public at 1:00 p.m. Each family will have reserved seats on the floor. If you do not have a reserved seat, please sit in the stands.

 

6th -12th Awards Program

awardsThe academic/activity awards program for Grades 6-12 is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the High School Auditorium. The order of events is below:

5:30 pm: Pot Luck Meal in Cafeteria*

7:00 pm: Awards Program in Auditorium

*Security First Bank will provide the meat. All families participating in the meal need to bring two covered dishes with serving pieces (side, salad, or dessert). Families can drop food off in the cafeteria anytime after 5:00 pm. Students need to be accompanied by their parents. Remember to take your dishes home after the Awards Program.

Families are welcome to go directly to the auditorium at 7:00 pm for the Awards Program, if you do not wish to attend the pot luck dinner.

New Summer Lunch & Breakfast Program

newJune 3rd will mark the beginning of the 2nd year for Hay Springs School’s Summer Lunch program. Even more exciting is that a Summer Breakfast Program will also begin. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. until 8 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 to 12:30, both served Monday through Thursday. Children 18 and under eat for free. For adults, breakfast will be $1.80 and lunch will be $3.30. All meals will be served at the Hay Springs School Cafeteria.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides healthy meals to children, age 18 and younger, free of charge. The children do not have to be attending Hay Springs Schools to come and enjoy a lunch or breakfast. If at all possible, please drop us a line at wendy.palmer@panesu.org or give us a call and let us know that you are planning to take advantage of this program.
