Hay Springs was selected to host the D2-12 subdistrict volleyball tournament on Monday, October 25th and Tuesday, October 26th. Here is the bracket for the tournament.

Banner County will be hosting a JR High Wrestling tournament on Friday, October 29th with wrestling starting at 9:00 AM.
Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each pool. Concessions will be available and the coaches’ meal will be provided.
Masks are not required but are welcome. We will have hand sanitizer and cleaner available. Mats will be cleaned regularly.

Cody-Kilgore has asked our teams, coaches, and fans to join them in a pink out during the football game this Friday, October 22nd, starting at 1:00 PM. Also, they asked us to share their concession menu as well. So, dig out your pink apparel and bring your appetite this Friday!
Dustin Brien crossed the finish line in 15th place with a time of 19:31.86 which qualifies him for state cross country! It will be held in Kearney on October 22nd. Good Luck Dusty!
Fifth graders recently attended Launching Nebraska-Nauts into the 4-C’able Future. We had a full day learning about space exploration, listening to real life astronauts in space, utilizing critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity to accomplish tasks, and hearing from business and industry professionals. We appreciate the Nebraska Extension and 4-H staff for hosting this event and allowing us to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The high school band spent their Saturday at Chadron State College celebrating their homecoming. We attended the parade, hiked C hill and then played with the Eagle Band at the football game. Proud of these students, they represent Hay Springs well!
