Both the Hay Springs School Auditorium and the Lister-Sage Community Building will be closed due to floor refinishing June 25, 2012 through July 8, 2012.
HAY SPRINGS BOARD OF EDUCATION
REGULAR MEETING TIME CHANGE
The regular board meeting of the Sheridan County School District #3 board of education, originally scheduled for today, June 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. has been moved up to 6:00 p.m. this evening. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of the school.
We have MORE surplus yearbooks from past years for sale for $5.00 each. Please contact the school office at (308) 638-4434 if you are interested. The following years and quantities are available:
Students are welcome to come in and lift during the summer. The set hours are 6:00 am to 7:30 am, Monday through Friday. Lifting begins June 4th, 2012. Mrs. Houser will be the program sponsor again this year.
The Class of 2012’s final year came to end Sunday (May 20) with commencement exercises. Congratulations to: Seth Badje, Kelsey Kudrna, Dustin Lee, Tauna Letcher, Kerisa Marx, Dylan Mathson, Kyle Parker, Marcus Sandberg, and Jerilyn Scherbarth! This class earned over $102,000 in scholarships, which included Board of Regents, Board of Trustees, Board of Governors, CSC RHOP, and Leadership Scholarships to name a few.

The Teen Driver Education for our area is scheduled for June 14th, 15th, & June 18th & June 19th. Arrangements have been made to conduct the classroom portion at the Rushville Middle School. The registration deadline is nearing. Registrations must be received by June 5th.
