Federation Wrestling – ages 5 on up will start practice on Wednesday, Jan. 6th after HS Wrestling practice in the Old Auditorium at 6:30 pm. Stay tuned for more details.

Beginning January 2016, Hay Springs Public Schools will be tweeting game scores, general information, current education topics, and lots of other information. Due to the weather not showing any signs of letting up, Hay Springs Schools will not have school tomorrow, 12/16 Stay home and stay safe!!
Due to the weather, Hay Springs Public Schools will have a Noon dismissal today, 12/15. Student’s will eat lunch and be dismissed. There will be no PM preschool, ASP or sports practices tonight. HS G/B BB game in Morrill scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The bus will still run as planned. Please let the bus driver know if you will be picking up your child/children. Be safe and stay warm!!
Student council, in conjunction with KSDZ is sponsoring a “Socks for Seniors” sock drive. Please help out and donate a pair of new socks (men’s or women’s). The socks collected will be taken to our (Hay Springs) nursing home for distribution to anyone who needs socks. There are boxes set up here at the school, the bank, and Sackers. Please, talk with your folks and help us help the seniors to keep their feet warm this winter!
Hay Springs School will be holding a Family Hour of Code on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 7 pm until 8 pm in the Main Floor Computer Lab. This is a time for families to discover what their students are discovering. There will be activities for all ages, both online and offline.
Hour of Code events are held during Computer Science Education Week. During this week over 78,000 Hour of Code events will be held around the world. Coding is accessible for everyone. Students will be enjoying various coding activities during the week. Tuesday evening is a time for the rest of the family to see what it is all about. In addition to activities for all ages, we have also asked the Robotics group to setup and demonstrate their robots.
