3rd Quarter Honor Roll
The 3rd Quarter assembly was held on Tuesday, March 15th. At this assembly, “A” and “B” honor roll students(3rd-12th grades) were recognized. When you see one of these kids, congratulate them on a job well done!
Pizza! Pizza!
The music department is doing their final fundraiser of the year! We will be selling Little Caesars pizza kits from now until Thursday, April 7th. See any high school music student if you are interested or let the office know and we will send a music student your way! You can also order online!

St. Patrick’s Day Activities
The 6th grade careers and tech class has been busy planning and creating rotation stations for the first grade class. The 6th graders led the 1st graders through a series of activities including a scavenger hunt, minute to win it challenges, stories, and much more! The celebration concluded with homemade cupcakes made by the 6th grade class.
ACT Prep Workshop
Mr. Lechtenberg took Hay Springs High School Juniors to an ACT Prep Workshop in Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 16th. The workshop was very informative and the Juniors should have come home with some good tips and techniques for taking the ACT Test.
3rd Quarter PBIS Assembly
The 3rd Quarter assembly was held on Tuesday. Students worked in teams to create a project that measured more than 80 on the ruler. We then talked about our school improvement goal of “80% of Hay Springs School students will meet projected growth and/or 80% of students will be proficient on NWEA MAP assessments in Math, Reading, Language Arts and Science.” This will be our final year in this cycle and we are so close to meeting this goal! Students made posters to help others to do their best on the test. PBIS drew for K-8 Breakfast of Champions and A and B honor roll students were recognized.

JH Quiz Bowl
The JR High Quiz Bowl competition in Morrill (March 18, 2022) has been canceled.
Engagement Meeting Rescheduled
Due to Illness of the NASB staff the “Hay Springs Community Engagement Meeting” scheduled for tomorrow at 6:00 pm in the school auditorium has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there.
