Meeting Notice

On May 19, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., a meeting conducted by Sheridan County School District #3 will take place in the Hawks Nest at Hay Springs High School. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of non-public schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend non-public schools and home schools which are within the Sheridan County District #3 for the 2024-2025 school year.  Parents of a home-schooled child identified with a disability and attending a non-public school within the boundaries of Sheridan County School District #3, are urged to attend. 04/22/2025 – Morrill Meet
-Hay Springs placed 4th out of 15 teams with a 379.
-Tripp B. got a medal in a score card playoff and shot 88 (10th place).
-Heidyn J. shot 91.

04/29/2025 – Alliance Meet
-Hay Springs placed 4th out of 13 teams in Division 2.
-Tripp B. got 8th place with an 89.
-Ayden D. just missed medals with a 93.
-Hunter M. shot 95.

05/01/2025 – Chadron Meet
-Hunter M. was 15th with an 88.
-Ayden D. shot 98.

05/05/2025 – PANCO Meet @ Hyannis
-Hay Springs was team runner up with a 402 as Hemingford won the team honors with a 386.
-Hunter M. placed 3rd with an 89.

JH Morrill Track Meet Rescheduled

Due to the weather forecast, the JH Track meet in Morrill on Tuesday 5/6 has been moved to Thursday 5/8.  With the meet being moved, junior high kids who signed up for $5 physicals will now attend physicals on Tuesday 5/6. 6:15 am leave time. The cafeteria will have grab and go breakfast available.

Alliance Boys Golf Invitational

On Tuesday, April 29, our boys golfed in Alliance. Tripp Buettner placed 8th with a score of 89, Adien Digmann placed 13th with a score of 93, Hunter McDonald placed 15th with a score of 95, Heidyn Johnson placed 24th with a score of 99, and Dylan Young placed 30th with a score of 104. Overall as a team they placed 4th! Way to  go boys!

HS Best In The West Results

Megan – 7th in long jump and 9th in triple jump (she was the only freshman in the triple jump!)
