D2-3 District Final in Alliance

Site – Alliance High School

Time – 7:00 PM MST

Admission prices – $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students -NO PASSES- Doors will not open until 6:15 PM. All fans must enter through the North entrance. Fan seating will be marked.

Student Sections – Students are to wear shirts at all times (NSAA ruling), all other NSAA rules and policies will be enforced.

Boys Basketball District Final – Tuesday March 1st, 7:00 p.m.

The HAWKS Boys Basketball team will be traveling to Alliance on Tuesday, March 1st vs. the Hyannis Longhorns for the district final game. Game time will be 7:00 p.m. GOOD LUCK HAWKS!!

KCSR/KBPY from Chadron will be broadcasting the game on 107.7FM as well as on https://www.chadrad.com

Track Meeting

There will be a quick high school track meeting on Monday the 28th in the DL Room during lunch.  Students need to get their trays and eat in the DL Room.  Shouldn’t take too long. They do not need to be dismissed early.

Sub-District Schedule Changes Part II

Due to the dangerously cold wind chills, accumulating snowfall, and school cancellations for Tuesday, February 22nd, the decision has been made to postpone Sub-districts until Wednesday, February 23rd. Time and game changes are as follows:

Game 1 with #2 Crawford vs #3 Cody-Kilgore will tip off at 3:30pm MT
Game 2 with #1 Hay Springs vs #4 Sioux County is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm MT

Speech Results

The Hay Springs Speech Team had a huge weekend! We competed in Hemingford at 2 meets-the Small Schools meet and the PANCO speech meet. The meets ran at the same time, with the PANCO meet wrapping up with the preliminary rounds. Hay Springs tied with the Sioux County speech team for the PANCO speech champion. However, Hay Springs ended up winning the Small School meet! The following are the results for the day. First listed are the PANCO meet results, followed by the Small Schools meet results.
