On Wednesday, November 1st, the Hay Springs High School Band participated in the PANCO Band Clinic held at the WNCC campus with Dr. Nat Johnson as the conductor. Five PANCO schools came together and made a large band, rehearsed 3 songs throughout the day and then put on a concert at 3 PM.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the annual Veteran’s Day Program will now be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November, 9th. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.
It’s Halloween and the elementary ghosts and goblins roamed the hallways of Hay Springs High School collecting goodies from staff! There were lots of fun and interesting costumes this year. Thank you for visiting us, elementary students, and have a Happy Halloween!
On Monday, the first day of Red Ribbon Week, Sargent Tausan from the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office came and talked to our K-5 grade about being drug and alcohol free. Thank you Sargent Tausan!

Hay Springs Public School will be hosting the D2-12 Volleyball Subdistricts at the Lister Sage building. Match 1 will take place on Monday, October 23 starting at 5:00 PM with Hay Springs vs. Crawford. Match 2 will also take place on Monday with Cody-Kilgore and Sioux County facing off at approximately 6:30 PM. Match 3 will happen on Tuesday, October 24 starting at 6:00 PM with the winners of Matches 1 and 2 going head to head.
