Hay Springs Public School will be changing to an early release on Thursday, February 12th, 2026.

Due to superintendent interviews and multiple home basketball games in the afternoon, staffing is very thin that afternoon. School will be released at 12:00 p.m. Elementary will be served a normal lunch and 6-12th grades will have a grab and go lunch option. There will be no p.m. preschool that day.

Bus routes will run normally in the am, and after dismissal at 12:00 p.m.

2026-27 PreK

Hay Springs School is planning on having a 3-year old A.M. preschool classroom and a 4+ year old P.M. classroom next year. In order to be able to staff the classrooms appropriately, the school is asking parents to please contact the school if you are planning on sending your child to preschool at Hay Springs School for the 2026-27 school year. School will start on August 10, 2026.
