2023MarchThere have been multiple false reports of school shootings around schools in Nebraska. HSPS has not received any reports as of now. We will follow our safety procedures and protocols. Administration is meeting with staff right now. Any questions please don’t hesitate to call the school at 638-4434.
With a possibility of our school needing to make up days due to the snow days this winter, I have looked at the calendar and determined that the following days would be scheduled to be used as make up days if needed.
March 31st
April 21st
April 28th
May 5th
These are for reference at this time only, we will only schedule make up days if we go over our limit. Right now we are sitting at one snow day left in the bank before we will have to make up days. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hay Springs Public Schools will be hosting parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, February 2nd from 4:15 PM until 8:15 PM. If parents are unable to make it during this time frame, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher to set up another time to visit. Looking forward to seeing our parents on February 2nd!

Due to the severe wind chill temperatures projected for the remainder of the week, Hay Springs Schools are canceling school on Wednesday, December 21st and Thursday December 22nd.

The December School Board Meeting will be held tonight(Monday, Dec. 19th) at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria.
