PANCO Music Contest Results

Congratulations to the Hay Springs High School music students for placing 1st at our PANCO Music Contest held in Morrill on Monday, March 31! Below are the results for individual performances. Students could receive a I-V as a rating, and several Hay Springs students received an outstanding performance for their solo. The Hay Springs Jazz Band received that outstanding award for a large instrumental ensemble. Hay Springs was very well represented!

Bayard CD Invite Updates

Bayard CD Invite Track and Field Meet Updates for Saturday April 5, 2025

Due to concerns about weather, the following changes have been made:

Field events start time: 10 am
Running events start time: 12 pm

1) Jumps – 3 finals only jumps for each jumper this day.
2) Throws – 3 throws for both discus and shotput. We will throw 2 then 1. If the first 2 are close we will measure them both. If one is clearly further than the other we will plan to measure 1 out of the first 2. Then we will measure the 3 throw. Throwers will get 2 marks at least that day unless they scratch any of those other throws.
3) Pole Vault will be ran as 5 alive I was told that day. Hope to be able to keep things moving so kids can get warmed up and try to stay warm if possible. (We will set an opening height to ensure kids have the opportunity, but to keep things moving.)
4) High Jump will run as normal on that day. (We will set an opening height to ensure kids have the opportunity, but to keep things moving.)
5) Running events will occur as follows for the finals only meet.
