Friday, February 14th – Practice at 7 am, leave Hay Springs after practice.

Staying at the Howard Johnson in North Platte. (308-532-0130)

  • 3:00 pm – Weigh-ins
  • 5:00 – 8:00 pm CST – First Round – Quarterfinals and Wrestle backs.

Saturday, February 15th

  • 7:30 am – Scales Open
  • 8:00 am – Weigh-ins
  • 9:30 – 12:30 – Semi-finals and 2 rounds of wrestle backs.
  • 12:30 – 1:30 – Break for lunch
  • 1:30 – Finals

Admission –

  • Tournament Pass : $13 for Adults and $10 for students

Dates:  Girls’ Tourney – Tuesday and Thursday, February 18th and 20th

               Boys’ Tourney – Tuesday and Thursday, February 25th and 27th

 

Basic Information :

  1. Location : Gordon-Rushville High School.
  2. Game Times for Both Girls and Boys: Tuesday – 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm, Thursday (championship) 6:00 pm
  3. Seeding: NSAA will seed the tournaments. Please check the NSAA website for the details.

The preschool classes will be having a Valentine’s Day Fun Night on Monday, February 10th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.  This will be a casual fun night filled with stations for the students to rotate through as they please.  Stations will range from craft projects to leisure book reading.  With the help of Mrs. Varvel the students will also be perfoming a few songs for family members.  All preschool family members and friends are invited to join in the fun!

snowy_road_697Due to the extreme cold temperatures and wind chill, Hay Springs Public School will have a two hour late start on Monday, February 5th, 2014.  School will start at 10:00 AM, with middle school and high school students attending their first period class at that time. Sixth and seventh period classes will not be held today. Stay tuned for further announcements.

The elementary and secondary ASP, all sports practices for Basketball and Wrestling has been cancelled tonight due to weather. There will also be no second bus route.  Students are to go immediately home.  Teachers need to go home after students leave.
All Wednesday morning practices are cancelled also.

3:30 pm – G/B BB home vs.Hyannis, NO GIRLS JV, BOYS JV WILL PLAY 2 QUARTERS AND BEGIN AT 3:30. ESTIMATED START TIME FOR GIRLS VARSITY IS 4:30 PM

Hyannis is worried about the chance  of snow tomorrow and would like to get on the roads as early as possible. Thank you 🙂
