The 2025 Salute the Troops Night will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025. Hay Springs Public School invites all Veterans and EMS personnel to attend. Veterans and EMS personnel will receive free admission to the football game vs. Potter-Dix.

We will honor our Veterans and EMS personnel prior to kickoff. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

6-Man Shootout

2025 Seniors Dylan Raymer, Talan Smith, and Dylan Young played in the 6-man Nebraska/Wyoming shootout game.  Coach Trevor Ginkens was selected for a second year to help coach the team.  Nebraska won 68-28.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 3, 2025) – Four revisions dealing with player equipment in high school football were among the eight changes recommended by the NFHS Football Rules Committee at its January 12-14 meeting in Indianapolis.
