Student Documentary Individual Projects
Recently in Video Production class, the students put the finishing touches on independent films they developed as a side project over the past few months. Some of them wanted to share their work. The growth these students have made this year is evident. Please screen these videos and congratulate Marc, Dustin and John when you see them.

Move That Bus!!!
The School Rental House is almost COMPLETE! The shop classes have been working on one of the school’s rental houses throughout the school year, and are almost finished. Mr. Badje’s Shop classes painted the walls, put in new carpeting and redid the floors. They also added some new counters in the kitchen and in the bathroom they put in a new shower and sink. They also put in some windows. Mr. Badje and his classes have been working very hard this school year and the proof is in the pictures!
Today is DNA Day
Started in April 2003, National DNA Day commemorates two scientific milestones: the completion of the Human Genome Project and the anniversary of the description of DNA’s double helix.
Children’s Book Drive
Hay Springs Public Schools has demonstrated outstanding test scores on our standardized tests. To continue these test scores, the sixth graders feel that it’s important for our younger students to actively read over the summer.
The sixth grade class is organizing a book drive for the Hay Springs Elementary and preschools. We are asking the middle level and high school students and staff to participate by bringing two or more gently used children’s books to distribute to the Elementary and preschool students to read over the summer.
We are taking book donations until May 11. You may bring the books to Ms. Bila’s room.
2012-2013 Class Registration
Students going into 9th through 12th grades will register for classes during the Academic Fair on May 15, 2012.
