Hawk Football
The Hay Springs Hawks Varsity and JH Football teams traveled to Cody today. The JH team finished an undefeated season with their 47-13 victory over Cody-Kilgore. The varsity team edged away from the Cowboys with a 34-28 win, making them the class D6 District 6 Champions. The Hawks have solidified a spot in the NSAA Football Playoffs! Times: 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM MT on Monday, October 24th, 2022 and Championship Game October 25th, 2022 at 6:00 PM MT.
Location: Lister-Sage Community Center, Hay Springs, NE
Format: All matches will be best 3-out-of-5.
Admission: $6.00 Adults and $5.00 Students.

Local Author Visits 4th Grade
4th graders had a presentation today by a local author. She explained the writing, revising, editing and publishing process. We learned there is a lot of hard work that goes into making a book and marketing a book, but the rewards are priceless.
