$5 Concussion Testing is slated for Wednesday, July 29th at 7:00 pm in the 2nd floor computer lab. If you are entering 6th grade or are in 7th-12th grade and have not had it done for a couple years,please make sure you show up. The state of Nebraska requires students who plan on participating in sports to a have concussion testing done. Any questions please contact the school or call Linda Kudrna at 308-430-0033.
The Hip Hop will be printing and publishing the school’s sports poster again this year. There is a company calling around to different businesses trying to get money for advertising, please do not talk to them the school has not gave them a consent to do so, thank you.

Hay Springs School Cafeteria is participating the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be free to all children 18 and under regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. And there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Meals will be provided: Monday through Thursday during the months of June and July 2015
Breakfast: 7:30 until 8:30
Lunch: 11:30 until 12:30

This camp is set for Monday, June 15 for students in grades K-3, and will be held from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. In this camp participants will explore the outdoors, go on a nature hike, make a garden lantern, paint with flowers, make a bird feeder, and more!!! Monday, June 22nd from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm participants will learn about colors that look good on them and about their body style. We also will discuss consumer management. We then plan to travel to Chadron and have them go to a clothing store there and pick out an outfit for another person based on their colors, body fit, and under a budget. This camp is for students in grades 4-8. You will need to bring a packed lunch. Please call the school office at (308) 638-4434 to register. Register by June 18th.
Ms. Houser has resigned as the activities director effective immediately. We appreciate Joy’s contribution to this position this school year. Linda Kudrna has been hired as the activities director and will assume the duties immediately. All questions regarding school district activities should be directed to Ms. Kudrna.
