Just before break the HSPS staff participated in an ugly sweater contest. There was everything from a sweater with a leopard print poinsettia to a shirt that had been partially eaten by a rodent. The students voted and second place went to Ms. Sammy Vickers-Meeks for her mouse-chewed sweater. First place honors went to Mrs. Twila Weyers for her crazy loud reindeer sweater. Mrs. Weyers is looking forward to defending her title next year and said that she will be campaigning for the win much earlier than this year.
