Tues. Feb. 18 – Game 1: 5:00pm (Seed 1 vs. 4) / Game 2: 6:30pm (Seed 2 vs. 3)
Thurs. Feb. 20 – Championship 6:00pm

PanCo J.H. Boys Basketball Tournament

FEBRUARY 3rd, 2020

1. Tournament will begin at 9:00 AM on Monday, February 3rd.  We will be using a bracket format for the tournament.  There will be a total of 6 games.  Once you lose, you are out.

2. Ticket prices will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.  The admission is good for the entire tournament.  Cheerleaders, in uniform, will be admitted free.

3. A championship sleeve will be presented to the winning team.

4. No passes will be accepted.  Coaches, players, managers, and bus drivers will be stamped upon arrival.

5. Starting time for the first game will be 9:00am we will only take a short break before the championship game.

6. The team on top of the bracket will be considered the home team.  Home team will be the official book.

Panhandle Conference Basketball Tournament

JANUARY 20th @ Morrill
JANUARY 21st @ Sioux County
JANUARY 24th & 25th @ Edgemont

1. Tournament will begin on Monday, January 20th @ Morrill with the two girl’s bunny bracket games hosted by the #3 seed. The boys will begin on Tuesday, January 21st @ Sioux County with two bunny bracket games hosted by the #3 seed. We will be using a bracket tournament format. (see bracket pictures below)

2. Ticket prices will be $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. The admission is good for the entire day only. Cheerleaders, in uniform, will be admitted free.

3. Medals will be presented to the top three teams. Presentation of the 3rd place medals will take place after the consolation game. Presentation of the 1st and 2nd place medals will take place after the championship game.

4. No passes will be accepted. (Media Only will be accepted)

5. The team listed on the top of each bracket will be considered the home team. Privileges assigned to the home and visiting teams will be the same as in all games. We ask that the home team be responsible for the official book unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance.

2019-20 Harrison Holiday Tournament

Sioux County would like to thank you for your participation in the Holiday Tournament. We are looking forward to hosting all of you on January 3rd and 4th. Please review the enclosed bracket.

The officials for the games are provided by Darren Duncan and Rob Stack. A hospitality room will be provided for coaches, administrators, and officials. There will also be a full concession stand and potato bar each day for your fans and athletes.

Each school is allowed 14 passes for your tournament roster players and 6 coach/administrator passes for administrators, bus drivers, and bookkeepers. Please fax or email me the attachment for these individuals so there is no confusion on Friday. Conference passes will not be accepted.

The top team on the bracket will be the home team and will provide the official book.

Games will start at their scheduled times, no earlier.

Admission: Bring a nonperishable food item and get into the games free. If not the cost is $4 for adults and $3 for students. Conference passes will not be accepted.

PanCo Junior High Girls Basketball Tournament

1. Tournament will begin at 9:00 on Monday, December 16, 2019. We will be using a bracket format tournament. Once you lose, you are out.

2. Ticket prices will be $5 for adults and $4. The admission is good for the whole tournament. Players, Coaches, Managers, and Bus Drivers will be stamped upon arrival.

3. Please return a tournament roster to pcyza@saa.school.

4. Locker rooms will be assigned. Each team will be responsible for their own valuables as multiple teams will share a lockeroom.

5. Officials for the tournament will be provided by St. Agnes.

6. The team on the top bracket will be considered the home team. Home team will be the official book.

High School Girls and Boys Basketball

The Hay Springs girls and boys basketball teams had their first practice on Monday, November 18th! Both teams consist of 13 players each. Ron Olson is the head coach for both varsity girls and boys. Linda Kudrna is the assistant for the girls, while Logan Paben and Sonny Salazar are assisting with the boys. The Hawks are excited for their season opener on December 6th, in Hay Springs against Cody-Kilgore. The JV girls will begin play at 3:00 with the JV boys to follow. Girls varsity tip off is scheduled for sometime between 5:30 and 6:00 and the boys should begin play around 7:30. Come support the Hawks and get ready for an exciting season!

Junior High Girls Basketball – Updated

Junior High Girls Basketball began practice on October, 21st. The team consists of twelve girls from grades 6th through 8th. Three of them will be returning players from last year, so we will have a young team. The girls ended their last season with a 9-1 record, and were crowned Panhandle Conference Champions! The girls will once again be coached by Ron Olson and Linda Kudrna. The season opener will be at home on November 9th at 10:00 am against Sioux County. We are all looking forward to another great season!
