Hay Springs Public School is offering the following items for silent bid. Please submit bids in a sealed envelope to Hay Springs Public School front office by noon on June 29th, 2023. Front office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal/transport of item and both items are sold as is. Item 1: Rhino Model SE-6 Rotary Mower
3 point hitch mounted, 72 inch cutting width. Single tail wheel, 540 PTO. Missing the tractor half of the PTO shaft. Sold as is, minimum bid $150.00.
Item 2: 1975(?) International Harvester 2500B Tractor
4 cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine rated at 66 horsepower, 8 forward and 4 reverse gears. 3520 engine hours shown. Includes Koyker Model K2 front end loader. Engine has bad knock. Sold as is, minimum bid $700.00.

One of the highlights of the Trout in the Classroom program is dissecting trout. Last Thursday, fifth graders rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty while learning about the internal anatomy of a Rainbow Trout. They identified the major internal organs such as the heart, kidney, stomach, and intestines, while also getting a closer look at the gills and spherical lens that helps trout see in all directions.
