Volleyball Senior Parents need to be lined up by 4:45. Football Senior Parents please be on the field and lined up by 6:45 pm.
HSH needs at least 12 varsity football dads to help string and paint the lines on the football field in preparation for the 2018 season. Work on the field will begin at 5:30 pm on Aug. 6th, 2018. We will be grilling burgers and offering salads and desserts to all who help out. 2018 Hay Springs Football Camp
July 6-7
3 Sessions
Session 1: Grades 3-6
Session 2: Grades 7-8
Session 3: Grades 9-12
Boys and girls in the grades above are welcome and encouraged to attend this two day camp. This camp will provide athletes with the fundamentals of catching, throwing, blocking, ball carrying, defensive strategy and technique, sportsmanship, and rules of the game. The camp will be conducted by Hay Springs head football coach Josh Borm and associate head coaches Isaac Hughes, Logan Paben, and Logan Douglas. Students in grades 3-8 will also receive instruction from current HSHS football players.
Session 1 (3-6) will run from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on July 6-7
Session 2 (7-8) will run from 11:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. on July 6-7
Session 3 (9-12) will run from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on July 6-7
Location: The camp will take place at Hay Springs High School on the football field.
Cost: $20 for each athlete participating
Family deal: $20 for the first athlete and $10 for any siblings participating

Payments will be accepted any time before July 6 or prior to the camp on this date.

*Admission (1st grade – Adult) $4.00
* Locker room before the game will be the east locker room in St. Michael’s Parish Center. Feel free to park the bus beside the Parish Center or church before heading to the field. The football field is located at the City Park/Greeley County Fairgrounds (two blocks east and three blocks south of the school). Please use the north entrance to the fairgrounds and park on the east side of the field. The visitor sideline is on the north side of the field.
*Spalding is hosting a Burger Bash (Meal Deal = Burger, homemade fries, drink, and a sweet desert for $7.00) along with a full concession stand

Last Thursday, October 5th, the kindergarten and 1st grade classes had a chance to read to the football players. The football players enjoyed it so much they decided to pick up some library books and do some reading on their own!
