Lakota All-Star Basketball Game

Hay Springs Senior Cadell Brunsch recently played in the Lakota All-Star Basketball Game at Rapid City. Boy and girl players came from North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, and Florida. In the boys’ game, Team Hehaka edged Team Tatanka 84-81. The girls’ game was equally close ending at 80-77.

NSAA Requirements for tonight’s Girls BB Sub-districts.

The NSAA is implementing the following requirements for host schools of all NSAA winter sub-district and district contests: 

  • Active participants are permitted to wear face coverings during competition, but not required. Coaches and non-active participants are required to wear face coverings. Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times. 
  • Attendance is restricted to 75% of occupancy unless local health departments or host  schools are more restrictive. 
  • No Passes will be accepted. All spectators will be expected to pay.
  • All Games will be live streamed. Go to www.hshawks.com to find live stream links.

Activity Changes 2/6/21

Activity Changes 2/6/21 – G/B BB game on Saturday 2/6 vs. Bennett County will only be Girls games. Boys games have been cancelled. JV Girls will play 4 quarters and begin at 4 pm followed by Girls Varsity. Girls Senior Parents Night will still be on schedule, parents please by there by 3:30 pm. Boys Senior Parents Night has been moved to February 12 during the G/B BB vs. Garden County.

 

Activity Changes 2/9/21 – G/B BB @ Minatare on 2/9/21 will only be Varsity Girls and Boys. There will be NO JV games due to low numbers. The girls game will begin at 5:30 pm and boys at 7:00 pm.
