Kindergarten and First Grade attended Ag Safety Day in Gordon along with Kindergarten and First Graders from Rushville and Gordon. Attendees learned Tractor, Farm Equipment, Grain, Water, Sun, Animal, Roadway, and First Aid Safety. We want to thank the Gordon and Hay Springs FFA Students for running the stations. We also are so grateful to Ms. Melissa and Ms. Tessa with the UNL Extension Office for coordinating and organizing this event. We learned a lot, are ready to make safe choices, and teach others about being safe! We are so PROUD of our Hay Springs students big and small!

Mandatory Athletes and Parents Meeting

There will be a mandatory meeting for athletes and parents to go over summer camps and to meet the new coaches on Monday, May 11th @ 7 p.m. at the top of Lister. This will be the last chance to get information from the coaches. If you are unable to attend, it is your responsibility to reach out to the coaches and get the information that will be presented.
7:00 pm — Volleyball and football
7:20 pm — B & G wrestling; B & G basketball

Junior High Morrill Track Meet

Due to the forecast, Hay Springs will not be attending the Morrill JH Meet on Tuesday, May 5th. Junior High students who are signed up for the $5 physicals will go to physicals Tuesday morning. The bus will leave at 6:15am.

JH kids will go to $5 physicals tomorrow (Tuesday). Students who were not planning on going can attend this; they will need to bring their signed form with them in the morning. High schoolers will go to $5 physicals on Thursday.
